Description

Online tools for engine control units

Chip & Tune by HB provides automated tools for Bosch engine control units. You upload a full read of the ECU, choose the function you need and receive the patched file a few minutes later. The patches are written directly into the ECU code, which means no external hardware, no tuning box and no additional wiring.

Available functions: multi-map switching with up to eight maps for MG1 and MED17 (Multifile Tool), map-based switching with individual maps from a WinOLS CSV (CSV Tool), classic Mapswitch for ME7, EDC15 and MEVD17, Pop and Bang for ME7, MED9 and MED17, Launch Control for ME7 and MED9, checksum correction for MG1 and EDC17, and Instant Tune, which matches your file against finished projects of the same software version and transfers their changes to your file.

All patches are locked to the vehicle identification number of the car they were generated for. Checksums of the resulting file must be corrected with your own tools before flashing unless the tool states otherwise.
