EDC15 Mapswitch

The EDC15 Mapswitch uses the three code blocks of the Bosch EDC15 control unit as three independent maps. The tool detects whether the file has the pump-injector (PD) or the distributor-pump (VP) layout, copies missing blocks and patches the switching logic into the file. Afterwards each block can be tuned separately in WinOLS.

The maps are selected with the pedals or the cruise control lever. When the ignition is switched on, the rev counter briefly shows 1000, 2000 or 3000 rpm to indicate which map is active. The selection can be stored in the EEPROM. Supported are 512 KB and 1 MB files (29F400 and 29F800).

If you upload a file that already contains the Mapswitch, the tool offers to rearrange the three blocks instead of patching again. Checksums must be corrected with your own tools before flashing.
