ME7 Pop & Bang: what the tool does

What you can do

Two ignition angles: soft for light pops, hard for loud bangs with flames
Conditions you set yourself: engine temperature, rpm threshold and how long the pops stay active after lifting off
The patched file is ready to flash, checksums are corrected and verified on the server

How to switch in the car

Cruise control OFF: no pops
Cruise control ON: soft
Cruise control switched on while braking: hard

Description

Pop and Bang for ME7.x

This tool adds a Pop and Bang function to Bosch ME7.x control units. On lift-off the ignition is retarded for a configurable time, which produces the typical crackle from the exhaust. Ignition angle and duration are set in the tool, so the effect can be tuned from a subtle burble to a hard bang.

The function can be assigned to a map of the ME7 Mapswitch, so it is only active in the selected map. Pop and Bang increases the thermal load on the exhaust and catalytic converter; use it responsibly.
