ME7.x Mapswitch

The ME7 Mapswitch adds switchable maps to Bosch ME7.x control units as used in many VAG petrol engines, for example the 1.8T and the 2.7T. The tool patches the switching logic into the original software; the maps themselves are edited in WinOLS or a comparable editor afterwards.

The active map is selected with the pedals or the cruise control lever and indicated by the engine warning lamp and the rev counter. Display times and the speed limit for switching are configurable. The file is locked to the vehicle identification number.
